Hi, I'm Jenny — welcome to Dakota Sunrise Studio.
The colors develop on their own as I work — that's the magic, and it's why no two pieces can ever be the same.
I'm the artist and owner behind Dakota Sunrise Studio LLC, a small handmade art business here in South Dakota. I love experimenting with color, fluid art, resin and alcohol ink to create one-of-a-kind pieces that people can wear or enjoy at home.
My work includes pendants cut from original fluid art paint skins, resin and glass cabochon jewelry, alcohol ink and Petri-effect designs, pins, decorative gifts and resin garden flowers. Because the patterns form organically, each piece is truly unique and can't be duplicated exactly.
Sharing my art and seeing where each design ends up is honestly one of my favorite things. Thank you for being here — I hope something in the shop makes you smile.

Fluid art pendants, matching jewelry sets and decorative art jars — each made by hand with original artwork, glass domes and stainless steel settings. Every piece is one of a kind, so each one can only be purchased once.
Cabochons are sold as individual art pieces unless the listing states otherwise. If you would like a cabochon made into a finished piece of jewelry, please contact me before purchasing to discuss the setting, design, and additional price.

Original Art First
Every pendant starts as a real painting — fluid art paint skins, resin pours and alcohol ink designs, cut and shaped by hand into something you can wear.
Stainless Steel & Glass
Artwork is protected beneath a clear glass dome and set in stainless steel settings. Chains are stainless steel too — clean, durable and ready to wear.
Truly One of a Kind
The colors and cells develop organically while I work, so every piece is unique. When one sells, that exact design is gone for good.

Yes. The colors and cells in fluid art, resin and alcohol ink develop organically as I work, so every piece is unique and cannot be duplicated exactly. When a piece sells, that exact design is gone.
My pendant settings and the chains included with them are stainless steel — not simply "silver tone." Each listing states the materials used so you know exactly what you are getting.
Keep pieces away from harsh chemicals, perfume and prolonged direct sunlight, wipe gently with a soft dry cloth and store them somewhere they will not be scratched or dropped on a hard surface.
Absolutely. Custom color palettes and pieces are welcome. Send me a note through the contact form with the colors and style you have in mind and I will follow up with details and a timeline.
Shipping is never included in the price of a piece — it is added at checkout as a flat rate based on your order total, so you see it before you pay. Orders under $35 are $6.50, orders from $35 to $74.99 are $9.50, and orders of $75 and over ship free within the United States. Pieces are packed by hand and usually go out within 2–4 business days.
Yes. Free local pickup is available near Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Choose the pickup option at checkout and no shipping is charged — I will email you privately to arrange a day, time and pickup spot.
Email me within 7 days of delivery with a photo and I will make it right with a repair, replacement or refund. Because every piece is one of a kind, custom and reserved orders are final sale. Full details are on the store policies page.
Along with pendants, jewelry sets and art jars, I make earrings, rings, cabochons, pins and small wearable art, decorative resin pieces, resin garden flowers and flower pill cases. New categories are added as I make them.
